Annual Highlights at KK9UM
Freshie Orientation Week: Every new intake of residents is welcomed through an intensive orientation programme, helping them settle into kk9um life, understand college regulations and connect with fellow Niners from diverse backgrounds.
Hari Niners (Niners Day): The flagship annual celebration of KK9UM identity and community. Hari Niners features performances, cultural showcases, sports competitions and a grand dinner that unites current students and alumni under the banner of "Niners Gemilang Selamanya".
Inter-College Sports Tournaments: KK9UM teams compete passionately in badminton, futsal, basketball and more across all UM inter-college fixtures. The college's sporting spirit is a proud part of kk9um tradition.
Cultural & National Events: As reflected in the college motto "Saya Anak Malaysia", KK9UM celebrates national unity through events marking Hari Kebangsaan, Malaysia Day and other key dates in the Malaysian calendar.
Leadership & Academic Programmes: From study groups to leadership workshops, kk9um supports its residents in achieving their fullest potential both inside and outside the classroom at Universiti Malaya.
